Today we researched designs for our egg contraption along with the nose cone. We looked at many egg designs, such as ones using sponges, straws, cardboard, foam, etc. We decided to incase the egg in an open pyramid structure that use a sponge, and straws to give it the most cushion. The egg will rest on the sponge which is in the dead middle of the open pyramid, and it is attached to a parachute which is a plastic bag. For the nose cone we decided to go with a bullet shaped nose cone to be the most aerodynamic we could make it. We also decided that we will 3d model and 3d print our nose cone, using ABS Plstic
