Today we found out that for our rocket to be successful we needed to drop our weight to ~3.00 ounces or less. This was a big problem for us because ours was about 4.85 ounces. We needed to drop our rocket's weight by almost a full ounce. We got close by reaching approximately 3.4 ounces and that was the lowest we could go. In 2 hours we cut our rocket size in half, our fins in half, we went from 4 to 3 fins, and shortened our egg contraption in half. We went to the Smollett possible amount, so that everything still worked and fit. The one thing we had going in our favor was the egg. The egg went from a 2 ounce egg, to about a .3 ounce egg. We Incorporated our new egg,, and we are taking a gamble that it will still all work on launch day
