Today was our official launch day. All of the AOE kids went outside with their rockets to test our rockets. When it was our turn to test our rocket, we got the all clear, and out our rocket on the rod. Our rocket was then all hooked up and our engine was in and ready to launch. We launched our rocket, it went to about 8 feet in the air or about 2 feet taller than Mr. Holler. The engine and the clear tube was not glued down securely so it went flying after 8 feet, while the rocket body floated to the ground. In total our total launch took about 2 seconds. Our rocket was successful however in the fact that it kept the egg safe. The egg dint crack, and the egg contraption was fully intact. Our launch was successful, because it did launch and fully protected the egg.
